God has shown me twice this week that He is capable of anything.....even things that may seem small....or in this case things that may seem downright impossible.
Amy had to get two teeth pulled today and about 3 years ago we couldn't even have the regulary dentist do a filling.....she had to go to a very expensive "kids" dentist to have them pulled....they had all the bells and whistles boy.....t.v.s for every chair.....flavored gas and all the Time in the world. (of course they did...they charged you by the second)....so anyway. that was our last experience with a filling for anything like that...but I guess she has matured and feels older with Casey gone away to camp. They didn't even have to call me in there once. I couldn't believe it. When they finally called me in at the end, she was doing great and hadn't cried at all and ended up having 3 teeth pulled and the third one was rather large. Great job, Amy! and Praise the LORD for his wonderful gifts!..... so I promised her that if she was good and didn't give them any problems that we would go shopping and get her a little something. So as soon as the numbness wears off, we're off to shop.

Answered Prayer!!!!
I Love it when I finally let My God have control and He always takes care of things. On Monday Jeremy had a baseball game and the team we were playing were not that honest. That day I had purchased a bat weight for Jeremy and so he took it to the game and was using it as were some of his team mates. After the game he was packing up all his stuff and we were starting to leave when he remembered that he forgot his weight. He went back to get it and it was gone. We asked his coach and he didn't know, so he asked the other coaches from the other team. They said that they had found a weight and then proceeded to give me the inquisition of what it looked like....I said that it was red or orange, I wasn't quite sure since we had only purchased it 6 hours before....but that he had put his name on it. Well they said that they would see if it was anyones on their team and let us know.....(hello???? do you know weather or not you have a Jeremy on your team????) So needless to say we never heard a word. I was so angry that I woke up at 3:30am the next morning, obsessing about it. I was so depressed the next day and still angry and telling the Lord how much I hated this world and I wanted out....I was ready. To me it was the principle of the thing. You just don't take other peoples stuff. Scott kept telling me to let it go, that it was only $7 and we could get him a new one. I couldn't let it go. Finally though by mid Tues. I had finally given it to the Lord to take care of and wasn't angry about it anymore.......not that it had left my mind.
So this morning the Lord showed me the verse "revenge is mine", says the Lord". I knew that He would take care of it, but I also felt that He wanted me to stand up for what is right....for my son. Well I had decided that after practice tonight that I was going to go get it back. I knew that they were playing tonight. Scott at first was not going to go with me.....but after lots of prayer he changed his mind and said he would go....Praise the Lord....I had also been praying for days obviously that the Lord would see this all through and give me strength to do what He wanted me to do.
So tonight we got to the game and I went up to the coach and said...."Hi, your team picked up my sons bat weight on Monday night and I came to pick it up" . He said, "what color is it?" ....I said "orange and it says Jeremy on it.."......(now mind you it was out in the batters box.....the only one out there.... eee hemmm!)..... he said "Oh, I bet that's it out there"......(no....really, I was thinking....) so he went out and got it....looked at it and of course it said Jeremy's name on it TWICE!!!!!......something they refused to look for on monday. ( the one woman there on Monday said "it says "oremy" on it.....I wanted to say...."he's 8, and he wrote it himself, cut the kids some slack) I really think they were thinking that I wouldn't do anything about it to get it back and it gave their players a tool that they didn't have. As I'm thinking about it....it makes me think.....do their parents not have the money to buy their team one? maybe I need to buy them one. But I wanted to get this one back because that just wasn't right and what was it teaching Jeremy?......so needless to say....I almost cried when he put it in my hand know that MY God and Savior cares about the little things in our lives. He wants to show us just how mighty He is. I was praising Him and I'm sure I'll be praising Him into the weekend. What a wonderful gift to me to show me how much He cares about me.....I love Him so much.
This subject has consumed most of my thought for the last 4 days....I'm so glad it's resolved.
Praise the Lord!

My other pianist
This boy loves to play the piano and with Casey's and my help and a little of his own creativity he has figured out how to play Cruella Deville after watching 101 dalmations). This all started this winter and he was playing it alot and the girls were not so fond of it any more.....so here he is with extra little highlighted parts he just added.....by the way....I'm not so fond of her name but he liked the jazzyness of the song...
Starting over.....
Well....I was on the "other" blog place.....and questionable ads appeared and that has always been a fear for me as why I've never really invited anyone but my family to the site. So I thought I would change my blogging place and give this a whirl.....I finally made it a little more personalized....it only took...about 1 hour or more...not too bad...not that it looks as nice as Terri's, but I know yours was a gift... hee hee.....I have some extended family that could do it, but they would probably charge me.....hee hee....So, let me know what you think....
Summer Update
Well to update some of our summer info. As in the last post I had mentioned that there was no water in the pool.....oh boy....well. When Scott took the winter cover off to have a more "lighted" look.....it looked like a wild animal had gotten in there and tore the bottom to shreds. We went to the pool store to get the very expense replacement liner and told the girl what it looked like and she said that we were the third ones to come into the store and say that. She said it must have been a weird winter with ice melting somewhat and freezing and the ice on the bottom starting moving around in there and ripped the bottom all up and then it leaked all the water out....wow! who would have thought. So here are some pictures of Scott taking the old liner out. and let me just say.... the getting the new liner in was no picnic. In fact it turned into a big nightmare. Casey and I were in there one morning with freezing cold rain water and hose water up to our ankles trying to inch that thing a little at a time across the pool, trying to get it straight..and even all the way around.....there was a lot of praying going on and the Lord was gracious and we got it on the second try.....only putting one small hole in the top edge (which we forgot to patch before we put water in it....ooops!.....So it is full of water. We had to get a new filter and now that is hooked up and ready to go. We just need some chlorine in there and some shock and we'll be all set. Amy and Jeremy have been in there already....and it is probably only 58 or 60 degrees.....not this momma....no way! The pool sides buckled in spots because the wind was pulling on the cover and yanking on the sides. Then to put the new liner on we had to take off all the top rails and the wind was strong the following day and was flopping the sides around.....eeeks!....but it is up and holding water. Scott says that if it lasts us two more years we probably will not get another one. we'll see....Jeremy will only be 11. Amy will be 13 and Casey, 17.....they may still want to swim. So that is the pool saga for now....I hope there will be no more exciting with it except plenty of swimming.
